Service provides real time information on financial markets enabling quick, timely and informed decision making

Etisalat today announced the launch of its Mobile Trading Services platform for the online brokerages in UAE. The service aims to harness mobile technology to provide quick and convenient stock trading service to the stock brokers and their customers, while promising to increase the trading volume at the Dubai and Abu Dhabi stock exchanges.

Etisalat's Mobile Trading service provides a seamless integration between the Mobile, Internet and Desktop environments for the stock brokers, thereby enabling their retail customers to trade on their stocks using any mobile. The service will provide real-time access to live financial markets, thus providing timely information for quick decision making, even while on the move.

Commenting on this service, Abdulla Hashim, Senior Vice President, Business Solutions at Etisalat said : "Trading in financial markets require, instant real time information to make informed and intelligent decisions. Etisalat's mobile trading service enables retail trading customers to check on their investment performance, while offering a brilliant experience to trade on their investments and place orders for their stock positions while on the move."

"The rich set of features provided by Etisalat’s Mobile trading platform will truly provide our customers a unique experience. With the launch of such an omnipresent medium, we are confident that the trading volumes will increase, with the increasing convenience and flexibility to trade".   Mr. Hashim added.

Etisalat’s Mobile Trading platform is powered by Market Simplified Inc (MSF), Delaware incorporation and a 100% subsidiary of INXS. Based in Chicago, Market Simplified offers this solution to many US online brokerages on a SaaS (Software as a Service) model. Globally Market Simplified have provided Mobile trading services to brokerages in the US, South Asia, Singapore and now in the UAE through Etisalat.

Commenting on the service, Mr. Venkat Rangan, CEO of Market Simplified said: “Globally we have seen a 4-6% appreciation in the trading volumes within months of deploying our Mobile Trading Platform. With our extensive technology experience combined with the unmatched penetration of Etisalat network, we are confident that this service will be very well received in this region”.

Etisalat’s Mobile Trading service delivery model requires minimal investments from the brokers. Etisalat will also provide multiple operating system and language support for the brokers. Based on trading volumes, brokerages can avail of adaptive billing schemes based on their volume of activity.
